Safety is built into the mechanic, not bolted on afterwards. Because Boops are anonymous until mutual, the person you reach out to never feels pursued and you never feel rejected. Add only people you actually know.
Block works before and after a match and persists across account recreation through one-way phone hashes, so a blocked person cannot return under a new account and reach you. Reporting is available in-app from any mutual card or chat. Chats are text-only with server-side link handling and disappear after seven days. There are no read receipts, typing indicators, online status, public metrics, algorithmic matching, or stranger interaction.
You can clear the chat, end the connection, or report the person from inside the app. Account deletion is comprehensive and removes ghost relationships and stale matching artifacts.
